ED is going to act on HAWALA?


The Home Ministry (MHA) as asked the ED in a letter, to act on the hawala through which the funding the terrorists is happening in India. 

The foreign funds are coming to India in various ways are posing big threat to security in India and as well as weakens Indian economy.

Officials sources said the illicit funds are routed from a few countries in Gulf into India through 'hawala' operators as well as Western Union money transfer.

Monday 12th-Aug: India successfully test-fired nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile, Prithvi-II has a strike range of 350 km. The test-fire is a part of trial for the defense forces to make sure the Prithvi-II missile are not having any manufacturing defects.

"The missile was randomly chosen from the production stock and the total launch activities were carried out by the specially formed SFC and monitored by the scientists of the Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as part of practice drill," the sources said.

The Prithvi-II missile is very sophisticated surface-to-surface missile in that range, was test fired from a mobile launcher in salvo mode from launch complex-3 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur at 9.15am, as per the defense sources.

They said the trial was successful, and the launch of the sleek missile was conducted as part of operational exercise by the strategic force command (SFC) of the defense services.

The Prithvi-II missile, developed by the DRDO indigenously. And it is already inducted into the Indian Armed forces.

Under India's prestigious Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP), Prithvi missile is developed and these missile can carry the warheads from the range of 500kg to 1000 kg. The Prithvi missile equipped with twin liquid propulsion engines and uses advanced guidance system.
